Consciously I want to evolve.
My ego resists and I forget.
I blog, re-read, remember.
So I blog for me, mostly.
I have found that:
  • → sincere and regular prayer
  • → genuinely good intentions
  • → present-focus, "interest"
  • → extended sense of humor
  • → honesty, sharing, healing
  • → constant work to discover and release bias in oneself
  • → dogged (to the extreme) effort to pursue awareness and understanding
Leads a person to "interactive insight from the inside." We only grok by going through.
Spiritual growth is like all others: you absorb, become aware, and via love (sympathetic rapport and desire to become or absorb) and will (directed intent), that energy becomes part of your singular sense of identity. The 'growth' is in awareness, and with that comes power which is always over Self. Diversity is Legion; Singularity is the I AM. None of this is new or unique. It's simply "unconscious and slow" for most people. I figure I can't help doing it, so I would rather do it well than badly.
Darkness is not of the Nothingness. It is not the opposite of light, as it only exists within the realm of light itself. Darkness is just something-ness lacking color. The universe is fundamentally of light, and darkness fails to hold dominance and fails to understand why: its nature precludes it: awareness itself makes all identities children of the light.

Mapping my 12 Aeons to the 12 Astrological Houses, an experiment

As far as I know, I’m the only person to talk about Aeons as identities, and the way that I have. Except that Apocryphon stuff I linked to previously and that was nearly 2000 years ago. And doesn’t make sense for this unless you use the “it’s secret code about metaphysical evolution, not Jesus” approach of the other link I referenced.

This has made my left-brain and ego feel… lonely and insecure and more than a little probably-you’re-just-crazy.

I think my Aeons, in a somewhat shallower form, are what Steinbrecher was calling “House Guides”. He told everyone to stay the hell away from them because they weren’t Inner Guide, as if there could only be one Deity and if it wasn’t gonna be Jesus it was gonna be Inner Guide apparently — I feel he kind of came up with his own path that he unfortunately made a bit into a doctrine. He dissed Seth/Jane Roberts at length in his book about this. As if she ever said Seth was IG. As if he needed to be. As if he wasn’t invaluable as he was. As if IG is the only possible source of anything that might be of value.

Probably some Steinbrecher fan is going to come along and beat me up for this, or some Gnostic fan of the Aeons that has been lurking in the binary, but oh well.

As promised in a previous post… here is ‘how I got here from there’:

1. Steinbrecher called Seth, Jane’s “3rd House Guide.” So I wondered. Does this mean houses have guides? Or, there are guides and that is _part_ of what they encompass? I have to note there are 12 of my Aeons and they function as guides, albeit a specific sort, but they are a lot more than that, also. (I have guides of various sorts too but… they aren’t the same.) Steinbrecher WAS rather tarot/astro-obsessed it seems, so maybe he just models most stuff like that.

So… is it possible many other people have “met their Aeons” but … just not called them that? Were put off by E.S. dissing them as “false IG’s” instead (his IG approach became a whole doctrine) so just never got to know them better?

2. I got this sense that maybe until one has crossed the Abyss internally (I believe that my so-called ‘Nothingness’ experience in Bewilderness, followed later by meeting ‘The Blue Eyes of Soul’ as I called it, corresponds with this), the Aeons maybe are actually a ‘lite’ version that really is more-solely related to astrology — or maybe that doesn’t change but it’s a shallower version, much like I have to stumble on things repeatedly to increase their… understanding within me.

Looking through QBL material and ‘feeling’ related to them (I mean The Four) and the Tree, it seems to me that maybe people just don’t encounter The Four until after that point. So understanding the Four times the Three primary energies as the source of the 12 Aeons, AS Aeons and not just simpler “guides,” wouldn’t be around except in that case. Meaning whether they are ‘house guides’ vs ‘Aeons’ (a more expansive, integrated part of you) would depend on the person in question.

Because literally the person would ‘be’ a larger part of the larger identity (cosmology) post-Abyss, so they wouldn’t just be distant-helpers, but better”integrated” as energies which “compose me.”

3. So I ask myself: is the above possible? Maybe the Aeons, or a ‘lite’ version of them pre-Abyss, ARE the same things E.S. was calling ‘House Guides’. Can I collect what I know so far about my Aeons, and find the qualities associated with the astrological 12 Houses, and compare, and see any seeming ‘matches’? Just a couple? Many? Would there be several that could only match the same one, or half the signs with nothing at all related? Surely by this time I have enough info on them, blogged for reference, I can put together and see.

This could be invaluable in helping me get closer to them and better utilize focus with them, if there was an actual correspondence, especially for those I don’t relate to well yet, I think it would be “a place to start” at least, or knowing which one to consciously call on for help with given issues in life.

I decided to try this and ‘assign the Aeons to the Houses’ and see the result. Done using modern Western astrology, Koch, 16AUG2010.

The result: they definitely map to this. Holy cats! None missing and none left over. It works perfectly. Some such a great match on several key points there’s an obvious ref. For me they are more than ‘merely’ this I believe–but this works!

It’s a big chart so I had to stick it in an external HTML page (saved from the spreadsheet) but here it is.

Experiment: Mapping “My 12 Aeons” to the qualities of the Astrological “12 Houses”: is there a match?

(I apologize for the crappy microsoft code in that… I saved it from a spreadsheet so I didn’t have to remake it. It might be funky on some browsers.)

I am trying to figure out now: if they operate as ‘house guides’ for most people, why do metaphysical astrologers not talk about them? The only ref I have seen to the house-guide was from Steinbrecher, and that was only because he was dissing Seth. I’ve certainly looked for other refs to Aeons — because that was a name I got intuitively repeatedly, I didn’t make it up and it didn’t even make sense to me initially — and not found any save that one obscure gnostic apocryphon doc as-decoded.

So in a way I am still where I started: the Lone Ranger rambling about something nobody else seems to be rambling about–but on the other hand, I have the testimony of Steinbrecher in his book to suggest that people DO run into their Aeons, they just a) call them something else and b) are diverted from them as part of the doctrine.

That part, that they are being encountered but under another name and not so completely, is a bit validating.

I feel better now. That was worth the effort. ;-)
