Consciously I want to evolve.
My ego resists and I forget.
I blog, re-read, remember.
So I blog for me, mostly.
I have found that:
  • → sincere and regular prayer
  • → genuinely good intentions
  • → present-focus, "interest"
  • → extended sense of humor
  • → honesty, sharing, healing
  • → constant work to discover and release bias in oneself
  • → dogged (to the extreme) effort to pursue awareness and understanding
Leads a person to "interactive insight from the inside." We only grok by going through.
Spiritual growth is like all others: you absorb, become aware, and via love (sympathetic rapport and desire to become or absorb) and will (directed intent), that energy becomes part of your singular sense of identity. The 'growth' is in awareness, and with that comes power which is always over Self. Diversity is Legion; Singularity is the I AM. None of this is new or unique. It's simply "unconscious and slow" for most people. I figure I can't help doing it, so I would rather do it well than badly.
Darkness is not of the Nothingness. It is not the opposite of light, as it only exists within the realm of light itself. Darkness is just something-ness lacking color. The universe is fundamentally of light, and darkness fails to hold dominance and fails to understand why: its nature precludes it: awareness itself makes all identities children of the light.

Summary to date

I swear it’s like I’m being driven to go on this ‘review’ of a ton of stuff, as if I’m summarizing and getting up to date before going forward. I have had a bunch of realizations about things that I had not had before. I forget many of them but one was, for example, that the Aslan-like lion, he is another ‘form’ of the mate/twin to me. I wouldn’t have guessed that on my own.

I had this urge to search for something in email and by accident found a super important to me account that I searched for last night in backup and couldn’t locate. I have probably well over 100,000 emails in gmail. Do you know what the odds are of my accidentally finding the single email that talks about something from five years ago that I didn’t even know was there?

That however led me to realize I might have pieces of stuff I thought was lost forever, if I can get to it. I’m not sure how to access ‘archives’ in gmail aside from lucky search results.

I was coming back from getting a drink when part of me said, “Go get the old journals that are on that shelf and look through them.” But I was busy so I ignored it. “Go Go Go Go Go!” …. so rolling my eyes, I got back up and went back and got them. There were a few great things I thought were lost forever (didn’t realize I’d

When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Girly

Well I could have done some deep, soul-searching, brain-challenging meditations this evening. But that would be hard. So instead I made a necklace. The long part has 12 large stones each of which is a different size/shape/texture, that I hope to associate with my 12 Aeons and use like a rosary. The Four at the bottom is an option for the future. Not beautiful by any means at all but as a quick “escapism” from doing something more worthwhile, it was a nice break!

Book Talk, TIGM/es 01

Post 1 in a series related to Edwin Steinbrecher’s book “The Inner Guide Meditation.”

I may ramble about related stuff or other thoughts through this. But I’m going to walk through my current re-reading of the book (last time was about 15 years ago) and thoughts I have. This stuff is key to the inner work I do — though in my opinion, the inner work has no real limits and the book of course does — and key to others understanding more of the down to earth structure of this kind of work, and maybe more of the ideas that it rides in on. Not all of which may be accurate, of course. I don’t think anybody has all the final answers.

Re-reading is a dilemma of sorts, though not as much as some books can be. It’s like this: on one hand, he is brilliant, and insightful, and has documented important stuff, and is worth quoting and modeling. On the other hand, perhaps because we are not the same person, I don’t agree with him on every point.

Most the areas where I start differing, are when I sense that he has a paradigm, or that he created one while thinking he was ‘objective’ because multiple people were involved in the shared experience-set he used to map out ‘what happened, when, where, etc.’.

My remote viewing and hypnosis background both lean heavily on the idea that we influence others when we work with

Neuro-tech, Brain-wave Entrainment, and so on

I have a new blog with my best buddy where I’m talking about what I’m learning. Getting real into the “brain wave technology” stuff lately. I was into this like 15 years ago but there was almost no research and we didn’t have the internet then. Now there is way better light/sound technology, 15 years of research, stuff on the web, people sharing stuff — very cool!

Social Algebra

I was observing with interest what was called “social algebra”. It was the math that created experiential reality. The way in which one’s inside in turn arranged their outside, both of which equally “were” the person, but the left-half of the equation, or the ‘in-side’, was what determined the right-half or the ‘out-side’, because it always had to balance.

I understood this related to recent meditation work done (myPsiche), which related to a person as an energy-construct. And, that this had come up because in working on writing out a more intelligible outline of some things, I had referred to a person as a ‘formula/geometry’.

In writing, it had been only a mental model. Now it was quite literal. But what it showed me was that my concepts had not been exactly correct; I had some base models that were inaccurate.

***

Everything in reality was geometry woven into a math problem, like an algebra equation. This operated on every level (macro and micro) but I was focused on the measure of “a person”.

A person, both as a ‘core-energy-construct’ and their “reality (body and experience)” also as its own ‘energy construct’, were a formula: those were the two halves of the algebra equation which made up the larger “person as they are in this life” which was basically an equation of core-energy + reality-experience.

The formulas could have many, many different things in them, and instead of numbers and letters, these ‘things’ were like events, people, situations, environments,

Guerilla Tarot

My comment was: I got a kick out of the idea that tarot “be infused with our life energy but that they be animated as well, as if they were participating in a cartoon of our own making.” Tarot is ALREADY exactly that! It’s a concept-map of the experiential universe. (Probably the best work on it is from Crowley and Edwin Steinbrecher, in this regard.) You might wish to consider testing out Steinbrecher’s internal-yoga meditative approach; definitely the cards “map to” and associate with (frankly, whether we want them to or not) the energies in our existing world.

The Archetypes of Ry

I’d been talking on the phone to LD, and she was supposed to be sleeping beside me, having negotiated her way into a night in mama’s bed, but really she was just faking it, listening to my conversation. The minute I hung up and prepared to sleep, my eyes closing as I thankfully began to relax, she popped up from her pillow all bright and chipper, insisting I tell her everything about whatever I’d been talking about.

The more I assured her that archetype meditations were a little bit subtle, complex, and probably better for adults as a result, the more steely her resolve became that I had to explain it to her. In detail. Right now. Or else. “Or else” I wouldn’t get any sleep was obviously the first reality, so I decided to explain it to her as best I could, since in theory, about 60 seconds of this was likely to put her in a moderate theta snore anyway.

First I told her about creating one’s “sacred space”. Then I talked about adding the cave and the left- right- left- sequence and she says, “I can’t even keep right and left straight in real life mom, I’ll never keep it straight in a world in my head!” I realized this was probably true and I said well, you can just do these in your sacred space if you want. I prefer to have a little place just for them but you don’t have to.” (I’ve had it

VR.5

Archived from the former firedocs blog. 19 March 2006

A friend of mine (without whom I might never enter the modern media world outside the internet) sent me some great shows on DVD. One was a TV/VCR capture of an old show called VR.5 (stands for Virtual Reality). Lori Singer stars, she does a great job. (Remember her in Falcon and the Snowman and Footloose?). Adam Baldwin co-stars, though I admit I can never tell all those Baldwin brothers apart. Too bad the series didn’t last longer, his character was heavy on the longhaired pretty-boy (and damn he sure was…) with a Bill&Ted Dimwit overtone, that character could have been written into something way better. Anyway, some other neat people co-starring now and then as well.

The first one was a bit heavy as it was setting the series up. As the episodes went on I was so enthralled I actually sat and watched 13 episodes back to back. I can’t believe I did that. Hell, being off the computer that long when I’m not working, sleeping, showing or driving is a miracle in itself. But I watch very little in the way of movies (and we don’t even have local/cable on the TV’s) so that was a big deal for me. That show was so ahead of its time. This was in like 1997 they aired (which means concept/build happened before that). The Matrix, Sliders, Millennium, to some degree owe little pieces of thanks to this show exploring
